Hello~My name is mubalake·tuerhong. Just as you heard, I'm ethnic minority, coming from Urumqi of Xinjiang. I majored in Japanese and graduated from Beijing University of Science and Technology in 2015. As an international exchange student, I continued to study Japanese Education in Japan from then on. To have an intensive understanding, I have taken part in various teaching activities. As a teaching assistant, I formed my teaching style from experience of helping Japanese learners improve speaking and reading skills. Being abroad, I once organized a small chorus show with my Chinese classmates to perform in the SUNTORY concert hall. Our performance received a good commendation from Japanese audience. The song we sang is called "Jasmine flower", a traditional Chinese song which is known to world. Combined with personal experience as a second language learner, there are three keywords should be emphasized in our language teaching. Be patient, curious, and sensitive. Every student has his own learning style and weak point. You must be a good listener. You should give your students enough time to react and make correction by themselves. Of course, such condition could also be applied in Chinese teaching. I always encourage my students to know about China and Chinese culture with their eyes, ears, mouths and hands. And I like them to share their special feelings to Chinese people after class. To be honest, such an meaningful role the Chinese teacher played is to shorten the distance among people from different countries with different languages and cultural background. Thank you!
